Mereka mengkreasikan kegiatan “yasinan” yang biasa-biasa saja menjadi arisan, yang kemudian terus mereka kembangkan menjadi lembaga keuangan yang kuat. Mereka mampu menahan aliran modal keluar dari desa untuk berbagai keperluan bersama. Bahkan sedikit banyak mereka telah menemukan jawaban atas pertanyaan rumut mengenai keadilan gender-terutama keadilan akses dan kontrol terhadap sumber daya-dengan kaum laki-laki.
