In the spirit of celebrating Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri, the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI) Jambi Province through the HERBI (Bank Indonesia Sacrificial Animals) program handed over a sacrificial cow to the Suku Anak Dalam community in Dwi Karya Bakti Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency on Friday (14/06). The handover of the sacrificial aid was handed over directly by the Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Jambi Province, Warsono to the CEO of Pundi Sumatra. This program is part of BI's commitment to provide benefits to communities throughout Indonesia, including in the 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) areas. The HERBI program itself has been running every year during Eid al-Adha.
The sacrificial cow given to the Suku Anak Dalam Jambi community was a gift from Mrs. Malis Naini Sri Mey Yanti, as the Executive Director of the Strategic Management and Governance Department of the Bank Indonesia Head Office.
In addition to the SAD community, the BI Jambi Representative Office also distributed sacrificial cows from the Governor of Bank Indonesia to residents in Bukit Baling Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency and residents of Ture Village, Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency.
The implementation of the sacrifice was carried out on the second day of Eid al-Adha, precisely on June 18 in the SAD community settlement of Dwi Karya Bakti Village. This activity also involved all residents of Pasir Putih village as recipients of the sacrifice which took place from 8 am to 10 am involving SAD cadres and villagers. The total recipients of the sacrificial meat were approximately 65 families.
Previously, Bank Indonesia had coordinated with Pundi Sumatra regarding the provision of this assistance which was intended for the Dwi Karya Bakti Village. "This sacrificial assistance is the first to be received by the Suku Anak Dalam community. Of course, this sacrificial meat will also be distributed to the residents of Pasir Putih Village," said Dewi, Director of Pundi Sumatra.
