Ghumah Belajo; Embracing SAD Children into the World of Literacy
One of the purposes of Mr. H. Mashuri, SP, ME and Bungo district OPD's visit to the Rombong Hari location at Dwi Karya Bakhti Pelepat sub-district, Bungo Regency on Tuesday, May 23 2022 was also in the framework of the inauguration of Ghumah Belajo; Bhetilek Elmu (house of learning to seek knowledge). The inauguration was marked with ribbon scissors and witnessed the ongoing learning activities at that location.
"Since the settlement is equipped with electricity facilities, residents are starting to get to know smartphones and children are increasingly engrossed with their gadgets. The formation of this ghumah belajo is an effort to divert children's attention from cellphones, and increase children's love for the world of literacy, "Ulvi, a friend of ZCD BAZNAS RI gave a statement.

SAD residents' awareness of the importance of education for their children is very good at the Pundi Sumatra mentoring location. There are 24 children who are currently attending school (17 SD, 3 SMP, 3 SMK and 1 PT) and even 1 child has graduated from POLRI in 2021. Juliana (18), is the first SAD woman from this location to successfully pursue higher education in Jambi Province. She did not waste the educational scholarship that the Muhammadiyah University (UM) Jambi gave her and it doesn't feel like now Juliana is in her 6th semester of the Forestry Study Program.
“I went to college because I wanted to change my destiny and be an example for my younger siblings. I want when I finish college, I can have the opportunity to get a job in the Bungo district administration!” said July. when he was given the opportunity to speak directly in front of Mr. H. Mashuri, SP, ME Suddenly the statement made the Regent smile happily.
Wisely H. Mashuri, SP, ME replied that the government of course provides equal opportunities for all children of the nation to join ASN, including the Anak Dalam tribe. The Regent encouraged Juliana to continue to focus on her studies, improve supporting skills; so that he does not lose and can compete with other scholars.
The Regent also appreciated the activities that Pundi Sumatra was carrying out, and hoped that other SAD children would follow in Juliana's footsteps to tertiary education. Ghumah Belajo; The Knowledge Book itself will be opened at any time so that it can be utilized by the community. Besides being able to read books, this location will also be a place of learning for children. Inside there are facilities for reading books, folding tables, ATK, printer, teaching aids and blackboards. This place is also equipped with carpets and fans so that when reading books, children also feel comfortable in it.
